Roblox says severe or repeated Community Standards breaches can result in account bans. For severe cases, it also acts against accounts it strongly believes belong to the same person, combining signals from devices, behaviour and identity. A shared network alone does not cause enforcement. Roblox acknowledges that errors happen and says users can challenge decisions through Violations & Appeals or Roblox Support. It has paused a username scan responsible for incorrect bans involving unfamiliar old usernames and is working on clearer notices.
The new Game Issues & Appeals page on Creator Hub lets collaborators who have edit permissions inspect game violations and submit appeals themselves. An appeal does not guarantee a reversal. Games available in Roblox Select receive 72 hours to address lower-severity issues before restrictions apply, with fixes then reported through the Appeals portal for confirmation. Roblox is also rolling out Marketplace consequences that distinguish initial description mistakes from repeated violations, and plans to make more takedown types eligible for appeal in the coming months.
