Apex Legends™: Cipher gives Crypto a more aggressive role in gathering information following a firmware upgrade from his sister Mila. His Surveillance Drone uses batteries rather than a cooldown. Sentry Mode marks visible enemies for the squad, while his EMP Ultimate can be activated at a button press. The Akimbo Wingman also introduces dual-wielded revolvers.
Strongholds build on Care Packages, offering crate weapons, Corrupted Attachments and EVO for the squad. Opening one takes time and triggers an alarm that reveals its location to nearby players. Revenant gains faster access to his abilities and new Upgrades that prolong his Ultimate after each knock. Lifeline gets a shorter D.O.C. Cooldown, healing while gliding and Upgrades for protection during revives and better flight mobility.
Legend Bans apply in Diamond lobbies and above. Each player votes for a Legend, with more votes increasing that Legend’s chance of being banned for the match. The Cryptic Core, a new Mythic Volt SMG featuring a PALS assistant, can drop from Cipher Seasonal Packs, which are unavailable in some regions.
